I am a qualified child carer with over 27 years experience in looking after young children. I have worked in nurseries and have been a nanny, looking after children in their own home.
My qualifications include National Vocational Qualification in Childcare and Education (NVQ) Level 2 and 3, Key skills level 2 (Modern Apprenticeship in Childcare and Education) and I.C.P (Introduction to Childcare practice).
I am First Aid trained and I attend First Aid training courses every 3 years. In the past I have completed other courses such as Child Abuse and Neglect and Basic food Hygiene. I will carry on taking part in training courses throughout my child care career.
I am Ofsted registered and I’m a member of the Professional association for childcare and early years (PACEY formerly NCMA)
